Winnie started life with the wrong family for her. Thanks to Jenni's Rescue Ranch she was able to rescue the Steen family. When she first moved to Seattle, Winnie was too nervous to go to the park or the coffee shop. A mix of Great Pyrenees and Australian Cattle Dog, she was afraid of strangers, friends, and anything that blew in the wind. She would stop her walks to shake with fear whenever anything seemed even a little bit off.
Now Winnie is bright, happy, and confident. She's gentle, but strong and brave. She loves taking long walks, playing fetch in the park, and especially playing in the water.
